ViewSonic Selects Oplus Technologies' Display Processor Chipset for its New Wide-Screen LCD TV

Yokne'am, Israel, April 26, 2004 - Oplus Technologies, Ltd., a leading provider of innovative system-on-chip and software solutions for digital displays, today announced that ViewSonic Corp. has integrated the Rembrandta-102 and Matissea-1 digital display and video processors into its NextVisiona N3000w wide-screen LCD TV. ViewSonic, a worldwide visual display products leader, launched the new flat screen display at the CES exhibition in Las Vegas in January.

The 30-inch NextVision N3000w LCD TV is optimized for standard TV, HDTV, and PC sources, ensuring that users enjoy the highest possible image quality regardless of content. Leveraging advanced Pixel Entropya motion adaptive deinterlacing technology and other Oplus Display to Perfectiona technologies, the N3000w delivers an exceptionally vibrant and feature-rich viewing experience. It offers sharp, cinema-like image quality for progressive video images, a wide range of picture-in-picture and split screen viewing options, and full support for 3:2 reverse pulldown.
