Wiesbaden, Germany - April 23, 2007 - GigaSpaces Technologies today announced that Shay Banon, System Architect, will present at the JAX Conference 2007 in Wiesbaden, Germany. Banon will join industry leaders as a JAX session speaker to outline a clear path for turning existing applications into linear scalable architectures that scale on-demand.
Banon will address the benefits of exploiting simple and open, yet powerful technologies such as Spring and Space-Based Architecture as the SOA execution environment. He will also discuss issues such as loose versus tight coupling, event-driven messaging, synchronization, SLAs and high availability, and migration of legacy applications.
Banon is the founder of the Compass open source project, a unique solution enabling search capabilities into any application model. He started working on mission-critical, real-time C/C++ systems, later moving to Java. Within the Java world, Banon has worked on a propriety implementation of a distributed rule engine (RETE) server, Java based web projects, and messaging based projects within the financial industry. Banon is a System Architect at GigaSpaces.
